About Carter Dale Stokes


Starting his career nearly a decade ago while racing the quarter midgets.Stokes raced dirt late models before making the transition to asphalt late models in 2015. Growing up just miles from Daytona International Speedway. It did'nt take long for NASCAR to make an impact on the 2016 Graduate of New Smyrna High School whose goal is to one day race in its top divisions.

Stokes first climb behind the wheel of a racecar at a tender age of nine, he spent the next five years racing in the Quarter Midget Racing Association (QMRA) where he competesd in over 1500 races and acheived countless race wins. After securing the championship in the Heavy 160 Division. Stokes graduated to racing dirt late models in 2012, but not before catching the attention of NASCAR team owner Richard Childress. In Febuary 2012,  Stokes was recruited as a development driver for the iconic Richard Childress Racing (RCR) organization. Coaching from RCR and team Dillion Racing helped Stokes quickly adapt to racing on the dirt. It didn't take long for him to find Victory Lane; in fact he made his first trip there after just four months. Since then, his dirt racing career has spanned countless tracks and in various series across the Southeast, earning the 2014 Rookie of the Year title in the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series and finishing third in the 2015 Championship Standings at Volusia Speedway.

By late 2015, Stokes began working with NASCAR Champion Mike Skinner and in 2016 had 6 out of 8 wins, 5th fastest for his first Snowflake/Pensacola Speedway and titled "Rookie of the Year for Pro-Late Models at New Smyrna Speedway in NASCAR Whelen All-All American Series events throughout the Southeast. Stokes also competed in the prestigious US Short Track Nationals at the infamous Bristol Motor Speedway. 2018 he joins Ben Kennedy Racing in the Super Late Model division racing throughout the Southeast. He PURSUES EACH COMPETITION WITH A DRIVE OF EXCELLENCE AND EVERY OPPORTUNITY WITH SINCERE GRATITUDE.
